Aanand L Rai to Make Indian chess grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand biopic

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is set to direct a biopic about the Indian chess grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand. According to film critic and film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will be directed by Aanand L Rai.

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is set to produce and direct a biographical film about the life of the Indian chess grandmaster and former world chess champion Vishwanathan Anand. The untitled biopic will be co-produced by Rai’s Color Yellow Productions and Mahaveer Jain’s Sundial Entertainment.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news. “A biopic on chess grandmaster #ViswanathanAnand has been planned… The biopic – not titled yet – will be directed by Aanand L Rai… Produced by Sundial Entertainment [Mahaveer Jain] and Colour Yellow Productions [Aanand L Rai],” he tweeted.

Aanand L Rai is currently he is directing and producing Atrangi Re, which stars Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan.
